Lecture series: Built Heritage

The series of lectures discussed the challenges of industrial and modernist cultural heritage, identified their specifics, and provided a set of contemporary international principles for treating these types of heritage. The issues of modernist architectural and urban planning heritage, in particular of Kharkiv (Ukraine) were considered. The potential of digital technologies in the preservation and management of cultural heritage sites is considered, the role of digital technologies in increasing public involvement and education about heritage sites was outlined.
