Seminar MetropolX Lviv
The research-based seminar focused on the city of Lviv, a city with a rich history and diverse cultural heritage. It boasts a distinctive amalgamation of architectural styles, ranging from medieval to Art Nouveau, and is home to numerous historical buildings and monuments. The city's old town, a UNESCO World Heritage site, has been well-preserved. The seminar's objective was to engage with the citys various facets from multiple viewpoints: history and space (heritage, identity, etc.), people (migration, demographic shifts, civic initiatives, etc.), infrastructure (landscaping, transport, housing, etc.), and remotely, from the perspective of studying locations in Odesa and Karlsruhe, acquiring insights into the contemporary city landscape of Lviv.
