In this course concepts were wanted, that would turn the area in Heidelberg with a size of about 25 hectares into a neighborhood that will offer spaces for work, development, production, and living. The goal of the project was to develop innovative and spatial concepts that demonstrate the prospects of this area from both a programmatic and typological point of view. New opportunities for implementing and mixing different functions should be explicitly considered. One core question was how to integrate existing working, productive and commercial places with cultural functions and housing.
