The area under consideration is located in the central part of the city of Odesa, including the Potemkin Stairs, and the territory of the passenger marine terminal. Several questions were addressed in the course: How can the marine terminal and the historical center, currently separated by Prymorska Street and port infrastructure, be connected? How can the territory of the marine terminal be adapted to meet the modern needs of the city? What should be done with the buildings and structures of the marine terminal that were damaged as a result of a missile attack? Expected were comprehensive design proposals.
