The seminar focused on analyzing selected areas according to different topics in the city of Pristina, a city that is facing many crises. After the collapse of the socialist planned economy and the end of the war in the former Yugoslavia, extensive and uncontrolled construction activity began in Pristina. The course allowed students to understand scientific research methods and learn to use instruments of remote mapping and create specific mapping skills. An initial survey of different layers of the city (infrastructure, housing, heritage, geography, greenery, or public space) resulted in an atlas of the contemporary urban landscape of the Kosovos capital.
