Diversity and variety characterize the departments of the participaring universities. The cooperation of our partners is based on respect, appreciation, and recognition and is geared toward trusting collaboration. Through their behavior, all project and faculty work together to foster a trusting environment that is free from discrimination, intolerance, and offensive behavior.
No one at the participating universities is discriminated against on the basis of gender, disability, ethnic and/or social origin, nationality, religion or worldview, age, sexual orientation or identity, unproven accusations or other characteristics. All faculty members maintain a discrimination-free study and work environment and respect the dignity of each individual in their daily interactions.
As part of the academic world and a place for open discourse, we all have a special social responsibility arising from this objective. This responsibility not only consists of complying with the law and maintaining academic integrity, but also includes special ethical requirements for the conduct of all faculty members, such as respect and collegiality in their interactions, personal integrity, rejection of corruption, respect for environmental concerns, and condemnation.
